Extremely rare, we were able to find only a few copies in libraries worldwide. The first leaf is printed on one side with apparently removable figures (they have a white border for inserting or vertical pasting). After the title page, a colophon with date 1903 and an introduction by Eisner follow 6 pages with the alphabet each time facing 3 illustrations. The remainder of the book consists of verses and aphorisms with the letters of the alphabet, each time provided with illustrations. The boy Vanja appears to be the main character.
