The four text volumes in 8vo, the plate volume in oblong folio, all uniformly rebound, green cloth; complete with the 28 vignettes (engravings) in the 4 text volumes and 55 engraved prints and maps in the plate volume. The first two volumes, with descriptions of e.g. the Volga and the Caucasus, saw earlier publishing, the third and fourth volume decribe the journey to the Crimea and the Black Sea. The plate volume with engravings by Robert de Launay and by J. Couché after Christian Gottfried Heinrich Geissler. (total 5)
