in een boerderijdeel" (later title on reverse). Drawing in black and brown ink with watercolour in shades of grey and brown, signed bottom right, 26.7 x 36 cm.

On thick paper or pasted. With minor defects such as holes in corners and traces of mounting on reverse. With (besides the title) the following later annotation on reverse: "Een soortgelijk aquarel van hem stelt voor twee tabakspijpen rookende boeren aan een vuurcomfoortje met zelfde boerendeel"; (2) A. Hamburger (1st half 20th century). (Portrait of a bearded man). Drawing in black chalk on brown paper, signed and dated 1934 bottom right, 48.5 x 39 cm. (folds, extra margins set on reverse); (3) "Israelietische Ziekenhuis te Rotterdam". Drawing in black ink coloured with coloured chalk, monogrammed "CJE" bottom right and dated "Rdam 1907" bottom left, 38 x 56 cm. (with fols and creases). And with (4) one other drawing in white chalk on black paper, signed "Smalhout" bottom left (Elias Smalhout?) (total 4).
