Albumen cartes-de-visite, c. 1860/ 1870/ 1890, all three with printed name and/ or monogram of Nadar on front and with printed address of the photographer (1x Boulevard des Capucines 35 and 2x Rue d'Anjou st. Honoré) and name of the person depicted in pen on reverse.

(1) Pierre-Joseph Proudhon (1809-1865), French self-taught economist, sociologist and socialist theorist considered one of the first anarchist thinkers. Proudhon was the first person to call himself anarchist and he introduced the word anarchism in 1840; (2) Victor Capoul (1839-1924), French tenor; (3) Jean Mounet-Sully (1841-1916), French actor.
