Lacks ties, title and various pp. with minimal holes, incidental stains, else a very good copy, tightly bound. Xantes Pagnino was a Dominican friar from Lucca, who studied Oriental languages. Pope Leo X called him to Rome to teach at the newly founded free school for Oriental languages. Scarce edition of this dictionary, expanded by Fr. Raphelengius (= Frans van Ravelingen).
