Mystery project, mid 1960s

In a short time span a large number of half spheres made of poured cement appeared on the streets of Amsterdam. The anonymous intervention in the mid or late 60s is thought to be a project by Koert Stuyff (1938-2020) known for his radical theatre performances.
His famous choreography 'Mutation' (1969) at the National Ballet featured three large polyester eggs slowly rolling across a stage, brought into motion by dancers hidden inside the structures. In the public art piece 'Trottoir', Stuyff replaced pavement tiles in front of the Stedelijk Museum with springy material, automatically causing passersby to move as in a dance (the project was cut short due to impending casualties). So far no specifics about the project have been found. The objects were given to Tjeerd Deelstra by friends who had taken them from the streets at the time. 15 x 15 x 7 cm each. Included are 3 spheres. (total 3)
