Vaguely waterst., sm. tears. A good copy of a rare, simple but exquisitely printed Plantin imprint, signed "François" and "Onderteeckent I. van Asseliers" in print at the end; (2) Ordonnantie van de polityen, binnen Hollandt. The Hague, A. Heyndricksz., 1591, 20 p., woodcut depicting the Dutch lion (monogrammed "PT") on title, woodcut initial on p. 3, disbound. Wormholed in lower margin, sl. affecting the quire signatures. A beautifully printed and very rare ordinance, apparently only 1 copy of this edition in PiCarta (KB); (3) Trovhertighe vermaninghe aende verheerde Nederlantsche Provintien: Ende het alghemeyne eynde ende voornemen des Spaengniaerds, t'welck is d'oprechtinghe van een voorghenomene vijfde monarchie (...). Dienende (...) tot een goede ende ghetrouwe waerschouwinghe ende opwaeckinghe. Door een lief-hebber des Nederlandschen vryheyds voor-ghestelt. N.pl., n.publ., 1586, (12) p., tastefully bound c. 1900 in crushed half morocco w. gilt-lettered title "Nederlantsche Provintien - 1586" on spine, sm. 4to. Library stamp "Biblioth.
