Nam June Paik

Invitation card for the first Fluxus show in Amsterdam at Kunsthandel Monet titled Parallele Auffuhrungen Neuester Musik. Artists included Paik, who staged the World Premiere of Moving Theater No.1, on the night of October 5 1962.

Includes the original announcement flyer, 29.5 x 21 cm + Flyer Electronic Video Recorder, 1965. Recto a letter to Tjeerd Deelstra. + Flyer for Paik's World First Video-Tape Monthly Magazine, 1967. Both flyers browned, folded for mailing purposes. + Aeromail letter from Paik to Willem de Ridder in which the artist mentions he will participate in a concert and bring his robot. + B/w vintage portrait of Paik. Unknown photographer, stamp of de Ridder on back. All very rare items.
