A very fine and complete, LARGE PAPER copy of one of the finest descriptions of the city, exquisitely illustrated and consequently often stripped. The folding plates depict a general profile of the city, the Academiegebouw and beautiful, lively views still very recognisable today. The other plates depict all of the city gates, the churches, the monasteries and hospitals.
