[Utrecht] "MAA 1864" Album containing 54 drawings

behind the leaf with monogram and date, all but one in black chalk, dated "Junij-Julij '64" to 28 "Juny 1868", containing, as most important drawings, a number of views of the city of Utrecht, but also (foreign) landscapes, views of villages, castle Heemskerk, forest lanes, parks, ruins, people at work, etc., contemp. half cloth put in cloth cover, oblong folio.

Interesting album, containg detailed drawings of the Domtoren (2x), the Buurkerk (2x), the Oude Gracht and a number of unidentified locations within the city. With 2 loosely inserted drawings by the same, dated "January 82" (nice street view) and "12 Aug. 75" (view of a park). Added: 1 smaller album containing 7 (loosely inserted) drawings (a few fixed drawings dated 1859) and a large number of variously coloured blank lvs. (total 2 albums).
