[Netherlands.

(= Jan Meyer, 1773?), 156,(3) text p., with the following double-page and folding engravings: title, 35 maps with coloured outlines, 17 plans on 14 leaves, 2 handcoloured "Steede-wyzers" and 1 flag chart, contemporary half calf, gilt and ribbed back with morocco letterpiece.

With library stamp on reverse title and labels on spine. Good copy. The text in our copy dates from 1773, as it appears from the text on page 92: "De laatste [Synodaale Vergadering] is in 't voorleden jaar 1772 gehouden." Moreover, the year 1772 also appears in the list of whalers. Hendrik de Leth died in 1766, employee of the company, Jan Meyer, continued the publishing house at a new address and is therefore probably the publisher of this renewed version of the atlas of De Leth.
