begreepen in XXXI, zeer naauwkeurig en zindelyk in 't koper gebragte kaarten, op nieuw vervaardigd, naar de laatste verbeteringen van de Heeren Fraex, Bachine, en andere voornaame aardryks-kundigen (...) benevens eene korte beschryving der XVII Nederlandsche Provinciën (...). Amsterdam, Elwe & Langeveld, 1786, 243 text p., with the following handcoloured double-page engravings: title, 29 folding maps (incl. a world map and 4 maps of the continents) and 2 folding "Steedewyzers", contemporary half leather with pasted older gilt and ribbed backstrip with morocco letterpiece.

Good copy with some traces of use; the fine and fitting backstrip (with gilt armillary spheres) appear to have been antiquely reused. The second, expanded edition, the first edition appeared in 1785. Koeman E & L 2 lists only a copy at the Library of Congress. The world map (dated 1786) and the maps of the continents are all up to date according to Cook's latest discoveries, and all signed A. v. Krefelt.
