both covers with the central coat of arms of Hieronymus, count of Colloredo-Mansfeld (1732-1812) and the last prince-archbishop of Salzburg, dated 1772, within ornamental border around sides, gilt and ribbed spine with morocco letterpiece, sm. 8vo.
Back cover sunned near spine; front cover with small and neat restoration in lower corner near spine. With the coat of arms of Hieronymus (or Jerôme) Colloredo, with the letters H.D.G.A.S.S.A.L.G.P. for Hieronymus Dei Gratia Archiepiscopus Salisburgensis Sanctae Apostolicus Legatus Germaniae Primas. He was a patron of Mozart. In 1803, he was forced to flee from Salzburg due to the occupation and secularisation of the city by Napoleon, but kept his title up to his death in 1812.
