Still a very good copy of this monumental work. The plates depict Dutch settlements in Indonesia, India, Sri Lanka, Japan and South Africa. Based on original drawings by Johann Wolffgang Heydt's (1702-1750) original drawings, produced during his voyage to the East Indies, where he was active as an artist and architect for the VOC.
