Manuscript travel album, 1828-1831

Hand-written album in 66 and 9 pages of a Diligence journey through the Netherlands and Germany, including visits to Nijmegen, Baden, Darmstadt, Frankfurt, Budesheim, Köln, Düsseldorf, Velp and more. Partly in Dutch, but as soon as the journey continues in Germany the language switches to German. 15.8 x 9.5 cm, in slipcase. With: (2) Album amicorum J.L. M.J. van Diemen (Lopik, 1811-1875). With 16 entries between 1830-33, including drawings, embroidery pieces etc. In attractive contemp. cassette.
