Almost 100 manuscript letters addressed to the mentioned department of the Maatschappij ter Bevordering van de Toonkunst, almost all from the various other departments of the Maatschappij, w. postal stamps, a few w. stamps from 1852 onwards, (remains of) wax seals, var. sizes, loosely inserted in ringbinder. Partly dampstained.
An interesting archive, of which a complete list is available on request. On the frontcover a mounted label: "Ca. 100 EO-phil. brieven correspondentie aangaande de musicus Richard Hol." Richard Hol (1825-1904) was a Dutch composer and conductor. One letter is written by composer Catharina van Rennes (1858-1940), 24 letters are directed to the Amsterdam department of the Maatschappij, of which 2 are written by Jan Pieter Heije (1809-1876). Other letters were directed to the Rotterdam department (21x), the Hague department (10x) and other departments in smaller numbers. (total approx. 100 in 1 ringbinder)
