Potter, P. (1625-1654) (after). Series of horses

Set of 5 etchings, all approx. 16 x 24 cm, one of the plates w. address "Ex formis N. Visscher cum Privil." and numb. 5 in blank lower r. corner of the plate (this print w. foolscap watermark), four mounted at upper corners and one mounted at left corners. All prints trimmed on the plate mark. The print w. the address of Visscher w. pinholes outlining the contours of the left horse, another print w. sm. central hole. Potter made his famous, characteristic set of etchings in 1652.
