Etching, 18 x 27 cm, signed "Herman van Swanevelt in. fe. et ex. Cum pr. Re" in the plate below the image, mounted at upper corners under passe-partout. Fine impression w. much contrast on paper w. watermark horn in shield, trimmed on the plate mark. A few minuscule holes, smoothed-out vertical fold (appears to be a paper flaw). Hollstein 103, second state (of 4). (2) The large tree near the waterfall. Etching, 20.8 x 27 cm, signed "Herman van Swanevelt Inventor fecit et excudit cum privilegio regis" in the plate below the image, mounted at upper corners under passe-partout. Good impression on paper w. watermark of large shield around 6 circles and countermark, trimmed (sl. unevenly) to the plate mark. Smoothed-out vertical fold. Hollstein 7, second state (of 4). (3) The crooked tree. Etching, 9 x 14.5 cm, mounted at upper corners, under passe-partout. Good impression on paper w. part of a fleur de lys watermark, narrow margins.
