Schenk Fec. cum Privil Amstel." in lower left corner, w. 4-line Latin verse by Ludolph Smids below the image, mounted at upper corners and centre under passe-partout. In mediocre condition, trimmed inside the plate mark (lacking the top strip of the image), w. closed tears, a few handcol. details, several tiny holes, sold w.a.f. Despite the defects a attractive print, rare. Hollstein 368, probably the 1st state (of 2). Added: 4 others by or after Jacques Callot (1592-1635) (in mediocre condition).
