Set of 5 (of 6) engravings, all ca. 20 x 25 cm, numb. 1-4 and 6 in lower l. or r. corner, signed "Martinus van Heemskerck Inventor" or similar and w. address "H. Cock excudebat" or similar in opposite corners of the number, all w. 1-line Latin text below the image, mounted at upper corners under passepartouts. Very good impressions on fine paper, all sheets w. watermark cross of Lorraine, w. very wide margins. Smoothed-out central vertical fold, a few foxed spots (mostly in blank margins), left margins w. traces from formerly being attached, a very fine set. Hollstein (Ph. Galle) 34-37 and 39 and Hollstein (Van Heemskerck) 132-135 and 137, first state (of 2). -and 3 others by and after the same, 2 in first state (of 2/3), one in second state (of 2) (the same print as the first one of the series, note the difference).
