Sadeler, A. (ca. 1570-1629). Forest view with brook, a harbour in the distance

Engraving, 19.3 x 26.8 cm, mounted at upper corners under passepartout. Very fine impression w. much contrast, on rather heavy paper, w. tread margins at the left and right, trimmed on the plate mark at upper and lower margin. Hollstein (Sadeler additions) 2, only state. With: (2) J. Sadeler (I) (1550-1600). Christ and Mary Magdalen. Engraving, 20 x 15.5 cm, signed "Hans Sadeler sculp:" and "Hans van Ach? pinx." in lower corners, mounted at upper corners under passepartout. Very fine impression, good margins at the top and foot, narrow margins at the left and right. Hollstein (J. Sadeler) 254, only state. -and 5 others by Johannes Sadeler (I) (3x) and Raphael Sadeler (1561-ca. 1632) (2x).
