Splendid impression w. much contrast, on fine paper w. unidentified circular watermark, w. thread margins. Verso w. 2 collection stamps of the Rijksprentenkabinet Amsterdam (Lugt 240/1838, "Première marque introduite sous Louis Bonaparte, roi de Hollande, 1806-1810" and 789a (doubles of the Rijksprentenkabinet)). The first mark is visble recto. With: (2) R. Sadeler II (1584-1632). Landscape w. bird catcher. Engraving, 21 x 27 cm, after Petrus Stephanus (I) (dates unclear), signed "Raph. Sadeler Iunior fecit" and "P. Stephanus invent." in lower margin, w. 8-line Latin text below the image, mounted at upper corners under passepartout. Fine impression on paper w. clear unidentified watermark, w. very wide margins. A bit soiled/ stained in blank margins.
