Excellent condition.
An unusual version, possibly a unique proof, related to the well-known series Deutsche Städte (1970), comprising five works, each with 25 reproduced black-and-white postcards depicting landmarks from four German cities, arranged in a 5 × 5 grid. The grid is covered with a monochrome silkscreen layer incorporating a cut-out silhouette derived from one of the depicted landmarks, matching with only one of the underlying postcards. The series was published in an edition of 100 and includes Munich (orange), Heidelberg (olive), Dusseldorf (light blue), Berlin 1 (green), and Berlin 2 (pink). The present work represents a variation on Berlin 2, showing the lower left section of the regular print, in a grid of 2 x 3 postcards, executed at a larger scale. No other copies traced.
