V. Kreveld, map of the city in 1731, 4 views of Batavia on 2 pages by H. Kobell after M. Sallieth, 2 prints with native animals, 3 EXTRA views of Batavia, 1 EXTRA view of Timor, all prints engraved and (except for one)(largely)expandable, contemporary linen with gilded spine, 4to (backing strips nearly detached, the inside in good condition, somewhat water stained at the blank inner margin yet the rest is in good state). According to the binders index 3 views are missing: Reede van Batavia (illustration III), Het Eiland Onrust and De Reede der Kaap de Goede Hoop, exsisting prints however are numbered I, II, IV en V (2 views on 1 print), VI, VII en VIII (2 views on 1 print), IX,XI and XII. The 5 refined anonymous contemporary extra prints are rare.
