Art Police. Large collection of zines
Minneapolis-based comics zine run from 1974 to 1994 by Frank Gaard, artist and teacher at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. It was collectively published by various Minneapolis artists, and consisted almost entirely of drawings and comics illustrations, with a provocative and humorous touch, a mixture of Punk and Outsider art. A total of around 70 zines were made in 20 years. The issues are all printed in b/w but vary in size, printing methods, titles and issue numbering. Contributions by Frank Gaard, Andy Baird, Stuart Mead et al. Rare assembling, generally in fine condition.
