Photo-album documenting the "Turnfeest door de leerlingen v.h. instituut "St. Calasanz", organised by Koninklijke Racing Borgerhout on 4 June 1950, w. mounted program of the festivities, 50 mounted photographs all 8 x 13 or 13 x 18 cm and a mounted newspaer-clipping "Prachtig geslaagd turnfeest te Deurne, symphonie van jeugd en zon", w. captions in white crayon. At the end of the album, 19 mounted photographs of equal size document the "Tentoonstelling Instituut "St. Calasanz 2-7-'50", mainly showing clothes made by students of var. levels of the "Vakschool". The album bound in orig. cordbound cl., obl. folio. The institute is also known as the Sancta Maria Instituut (1930-2004). The Sint Calasanz institute was founded in 1831 by the Zusters van de Christelijke Scholen van Vorselaar as a vocational school.
