Several leaves at the beginning loose, but a very good copy with barely any rust stains. Fantastic, rare publication, a detailed study of the art of tattooing in Europe, America, Japan, the South Seas, Hawaii, etc. The prints show e.g. a Papua woman, an inhabitant of Banaba, portraits of a woman and various men from New Zealand and almost fully tattooed Japanese people.
