War pocket book of Jewish Amsterdammer Jacques van de Kar (1917-2008),

of the 18th infantry regiment, of draft 1937 - III - '45, the printed book with name and personal information of Van de Kar filled out by hand, with 56 p. printed text and various unused (folding) forms, such as an "Olografisch testament" and an authentic testament and 4 message cards, 15.5 x 12 cm. (stained and worn due to intensive use).

With (wound around the book) the original neckcord with the two-piece metal soldier's tag of Van de Kar. Extremely original item, due to the person of Jewish Amsterdammer Jacques van de Kar, a hero of the organised Jewish resistance against the nazis, who was eventually forced into hiding in Beekbergen with his wife and thus survived the war.
