Partly waterstained in top half. Scarce pamphlet concerning taxation of beer, of which earlier editions appeared in 1671 and 1672. Remarkably, the excise duty on "Lupen, Lubeksche, Enghelsche, ende andere vremde Bieren" at two guilders for "elcke Tonne" is much higher than that on Belgian beer. Also, no distinction is made regarding the place where the foreign beer is sold, while the Belgian beer is much more expensive in the cities than in the country.
