Saenredam, J. Pietersz. (1565-1607). Four engravings: (1) Neptune and Amphitrite

Engraving from a series of 3 dep. paired Gods and Godesses, 32.5 x 21.7 cm, after Hendrick Goltzius (1558-1617), monogrammed "HG", numb. 2 and w. 4-line Latin verse in the plate, mounted at upper corner under passe-partout. Very fine impression, trimmed to the plate mark. Lower r. corner restored, a few smoothed-out folds. (2) Susanna and the elders. Engraving, 22.5 x 25.8 cm, after Cornelis Cornelisz. van Haarlem (1562-1638), signed "J. Saenredam sculp. et excu.", "C.C. Haerlem inven.", w. address "Rob. de Baudois Amstelodami" and w. 6-line Latin verse in the plate, mounted at upper corners under passe-partout. Fine impression, trimmed to the plate mark. Sl. creased along smoothed-out central vertical fold. Hollstein 22, 2nd and final state. -and 2 fine others by the same, both after Goltzius (Hollstein 63, and Hollstein 50 (3rd state of 5)).
