incl. two etchings: (1) The cardplayers. 7.2 x 5.6 cm, monogrammed "TW" in lower margin, mounted at upper margin under passe-partout. Good impression on rather thin paper, w. narrow margins. Paper splitting on plate mark. (2) Seamstress. 8.5 x 7.3 cm, monogrammed "TW" in lower margin, mounted at upper margin under the same passe-partout as the cardplayers. Good impression, narrow margins. Blank lower left corner lacking a sm. portion. Verso w. collector's stamp of E. Spira (Lugt 2306a). (3) G. de Lairesse (1641-1711). "Die licht gelooft wort licht bedrogen". Etching, 18 x 13 cm, monogrammed "GL" in lower r. corner, mounted at upper corners under passe-partout. Good impression, ample margins. Corners verso w. remnants of former mount. (4) J. Gillisz. van Vliet (1600 to 1610-1668). Humpbacked beggar. Etching from the series of beggars, 9 x 6.7 cm, numb. 4 in lower right corner, signed "JG van Vliet inv." in upper left corner, mounted at upper corners under passe-partout. Good impression on wove paper, narrow margins. Remnants of former mounting at all corners verso (shining through recto). -and 9 others by or after Van Vliet (2x, unsigned), Marcus de Bye (1638/39-1688), Cornelis Bega (1631/32-1664) (4x) and Adriaen van Ostade (1610-1685) (2x).
